Vida Samadzai and Mariyah Moten both participated in beauty pageants wearing a bikini and representing their home country. Both countries being Muslim nations, the government strongly disapproved and banned the beauty queens from entering into their homeland. Vida and Mariyah both received numerous death threats, both continue to reside in the USA perusing their dreams.
